Student Nurses Association

The HCSNA was founded in 2013 as an Image of Nursing Project. Since then, it has evolved into a student resource for leadership, mentoring, and community involvement for the Hartnell College Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) students. On September 12, 2016, we became an official NSNA Total Membership School Chapter with 58 active member out of 77 currently enrolled ADN students! This is a great accomplishment for our chapter and our goal is to continually grow in student enrichment opportunities and to become an influential health resource for our community.

Recent accomplishements for our HCSNA chapter this year include revamping our mentorship program, releasing our official website in September, and registering 18 HCSNA members for our CNSA Convention in October. 

 

In addition, we are partnering up with the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and Vocational Nursing (VN) students of Hartnell College Nursing and Allied Health to increase our community health and education outreach.
